Controlled Mischief started with a couple of first responders, an inappropriate sense of humor, and the dangerous realization that we really enjoy making things. One machine became another. Then another. Now we create custom made products, experiment with questionable ideas and occasionally produce something surprisingly respectable. Everything we sell is made with considerably more attention to detail than our name would suggest.
Although we don't take ourselves particularly seriously.

We don't just solve problems; we apply high-contrast technical solutions to things that probably didn't need a laser cutter. But we used one anyway because it felt right.
Craft with a wink
Our process is serious, but the results are questionably behaved. We believe a well-made object should also be able to tell a joke or at least raise an eyebrow.
Responsible chaos
We take full responsibility for the machines we buy and the mischief they cause. Every piece is human-guided, ethical, and built to last longer than our bad ideas.

No fluff, just raw performance. We celebrate the marks of the machine and the grit of the maker, resulting in an edgy, contemporary aesthetic that doesn't apologize.

In a world of boring perfection, we choose intentional chaos. We matter because we refuse to outsource our soul to mass production. Every machine in our shop serves a human idea, not the other way around.
We also support first responders and veterans through optional round-up donations at time of payment. These funds go directly to Legacy Place Society and the Veterans Association Food Bank.
